In the idyllic location at the head of the Mallacoota Inlet on Victoria’s eastern coast, Gipsy Point offers a superb getaway to Croajingolong National Park. The area is still as nature designed it, unspoiled and famous for its beauty of forests, rivers, lakes and coastline.

The area is best enjoyed on a walk or cruise around the inlet. A haven for local wildlife, spot white-bellied sea eagles, lyrebirds, azure kingfishers, goannas and colourful Gippsland water dragons, some growing to a boastful 1m long.

CROAJINGOLONG NATIONAL PARK

A short drive from Gipsy Point is the breathtaking Croajingolong National Park boasting 100km of beaches along the wilderness coast of Victoria’s East Gippsland. With epic hikes, gob-smacking white sand beaches, rainforest pockets and beautiful campsites, the park is truly one of the best places you can visit.

What Locals Love About Gipsy Point

Peter Payne, Gipsy Point Lakeside

Gipsy Point is just beautiful. I love boating on the Mallacoota Inlet, sharing the yard with kangaroos, wombats and abundant birdlife. It really is a view never to be taken for granted.
